Teams may accept a small aero penalty by opening cooling louvres wider than optimal to keep the internal combustion engine and its ancillaries within safe operating windows over a full race distance.\n\n## When Tyre Grip Drops, It Drops Fast\n\nTyre degradation at the Hungaroring tends to follow a cliff pattern rather than a gradual slope. Drivers who push too hard on worn rubber can lose multiple seconds per lap before the performance stabilises. A car that looks competitive on lap 20 can be in a completely different window by lap 25, which makes real-time pace assessment essential for strategy calls.\n\nThe pace delta between strategies is magnified here.
