Rangers have signed 20-year-old Serbian midfielder Vanja Dragojevic from Partizan Belgrade for an undisclosed fee. Dragojevic, a youth international, plays centrally and had not yet locked down regular first-team minutes at Partizan, which kept his transfer value within Rangers' reach.

Rangers have shopped repeatedly in the Serbian market for players aged 19 to 22, targeting prospects whose price tags have not been inflated by sustained first-team exposure in stronger leagues. The Serbian SuperLiga's lower wage and fee structures give Rangers access to profiles they could not afford from Scandinavian, Dutch, or Portuguese academies at comparable developmental stages.

Dragojevic enters a central midfield group that has seen significant turnover in recent seasons. He will compete for minutes against a blend of established and emerging options. The pressing intensity, aerial duels, and transition pace of the Scottish Premiership, particularly in Old Firm matches, will demand a physical adjustment for a player whose development to date has come in a less demanding league.
