SportPulse respects the intellectual property rights of others and is committed to complying with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and applicable copyright laws. This page explains how to report copyright infringement on our platform.

1. Our Commitment

SportPulse produces original editorial content and attributes all external sources clearly. We do not knowingly publish copyrighted material without permission or proper attribution. If you believe that content on our site infringes your copyright, we will investigate and take appropriate action promptly.

2. Filing a Copyright Complaint

To file a copyright infringement notice, please send a written communication to our designated copyright agent that includes the following information:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the original work that you claim has been infringed, including the URL where the original work is located (if available online).
  • Identification of the infringing material: The URL(s) of the content on SportPulse that you claim is infringing, and enough information for us to locate the material.
  • Your contact information: Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Statement of good faith: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • Statement of accuracy: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
  • Physical or electronic signature: The physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

3. Where to Send Complaints

We aim to acknowledge all copyright complaints within 48 hours and to resolve valid claims within 10 business days.

4. Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed from SportPulse in error or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

  • Identification of the removed material and the URL where it appeared before removal.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal courts located at your address (or if outside the US, any jurisdiction where SportPulse may be found).
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA, SportPulse has a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are found to be repeat copyright infringers, where applicable.

6. Fair Use Statement

SportPulse believes that its use of factual information, scores, statistics, and brief excerpts from news reports for the purpose of commentary, criticism, and news reporting constitutes fair use under applicable copyright law. Where we use material from external sources, we add substantial original editorial value through analysis, context, and commentary, and we attribute the source clearly.
